As the temperatures drop, and the number one conversation starter becomes 'Bit chilly today, isn't it?' many people will be wondering how they'll be able to keep themselves and their families warm while the weather is so bitterly cold - without cranking the expensive heating up.

Primark has answered savvy parents' prayers, however, by slashing the price of an item that will keep kids warm all winter long - they can just put it on, and they'll stop pestering you to turn the heating up because they'll be so cosy.

One woman took the group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK to share her fantastic find, and other parents were running and not walking to the fast fashion store.

She wrote: "Kids Snuddies half price now £5 in Primark", and accompanied the post with some pictures of the Oodie dupes available. There was a good variety of designs available, from outer space cats with stars all over to butterflies, and monsters - there's something for every child.

Primark said the Snuddie is "a snuggly oversized hoodie. It's designed for those lazy days when your comfiest clothes just don't cut it. Made with super-soft fleece fabric cut into an oversized silhouette with long cuffed sleeves and a large hood, our Snuddies are set to keep you warm and cosy as you nest in front of the TV [...] The best part? This wearable blanket is fixed with a kangaroo pocket to keep your belongings safe and your hands toasty as well!"

In the comments, people praised the fantastic deal, with one writing: "We need to try and go", so they could get their hands on one of them. Another said: "Ideal Xmas present", with someone else penning: "We need to check again."

And it's not the only thing that has got Primark shoppers going wild recently. Fans of the store, and the Grinch, are scrambling to get their hands on the Grinch range - which includes pyjamas, slippers, and a huge Christmas decoration of the meanie.
