Lily Allen and David Harbour have put on a united front as they fire back at split rumours.

The singer married the Stranger Things star in 2020 and recently gushed about him on Instagram while marking their third wedding anniversary. However, the star sparked rumours of a marriage crisis when she ‘unfollowed’ David on the social media app, leading to claims the couple were 'living separate lives'.

Last week reports suggested Lily and David had 'barely been together' for the past three months. Lily's hectic schedule saw her spend the summer starring in the London West End production The Pillowman while David remained in New York. She posted snaps of gifts and cards David sent her during their time apart, but it was claimed the couple had grown distant in recent months.

The pair were last pictured at a showbiz party in New York in September, when Lily returned to the States. Over Halloween, Lily ignored the rumours by sharing posts of her spooky party but David was no-where in sight. However, Lily and David have now seemingly brushed off any split speculation as they were spotted cosying up together.

The couple enjoyed time together at a basketball game in New York on Thursday. Lily kept it casual as she wore a beige jumper, black trousers and white trainers. Yet she added a touch of glamour with her navy Hermes Birkin bag. She sat next to husband David, who wore an all black outfit as he cheered on the Knicks.

Fans started worrying about Lily and David's relationship when they noticed she unfollowed him on Instagram. However, he continued to follow her. One fan commented on X: “APPARENTLY DAVID HARBOUR AND LILY ALLEN UNFOLLOWED EACH OTHER” and another asked: “Lily Allen and David Harbor wouldn't do that to me THEY WOULDN’T.”

A source told The Sun: “Lily and David have barely been together for the past three months and have been living separate lives. When she was in London for the Pillowman, David was spotted at one performance in July before Lily was left by herself. In her downtime, Lily would be with mates in London or her kids. When she went back to the US with them, there was no sign of David."

However, Lily was spotted in New York on Sunday with her 10-year-old daughter, Marnie - and the Smile singer’s wedding ring was firmly on. She has previously gushed over David in public. Speaking on The Jonathan Ross Show, she said: "It was the first time I'd been on this dating app. I was scrolling through and landed on David's profile and pressed accept. I didn't know who he was.

"I thought he was just like a sexy policeman from a reality TV show because he was wearing a policeman's uniform. It was a still from Stranger Things. I'd never seen Stranger Things. I don't even know what I was looking for. It was just something to do on holiday, swiping, it's a bit of fun. When I met him I didn’t think it was going to go anywhere. He was here filming Black Widow. He was only going to be here for a couple of months. And then it did [go somewhere].”
