Outnumbered fans were left feeling nostalgic after three cast members reunited six years after the show concluded.

Former child stars Ramona Marquez, Tyger Drew-Honey, and Daniel Roche looked almost unrecognisable from their days on the hit sitcom. Tyger took to Instagram to share a rare snap of the trio, without giving away too much detail on the reason they met.

The post uploaded on Monday reached seven thousand likes and received a huge number of comments from excited fans. The actor simply revealed it was in aid of Comic Relief, writing: "Great to be back with the fam for #comicrelief - if you don’t already know, these guys are legends. Apologies for the lack of activity on here. I’ll sort it out. #outnumbered #grateful #family"

Delighted fans were quick to comment on their secret link, while others demanded there be new episodes of the BBC comedy. One person wrote: "We need another season desperately." Another person penned: "WE NEED ANOTHER SEASON PLSSS" A third person added: "This is the post I didn’t know I needed to see!"

Others commented on the change in their appearance. Tyger, now 27, looked all grown-up with slightly lighter hair than what we're used to, while 22-year-old Ramona swapped her blonde locks for a brunette look. Daniel, 24, still rocks his iconic curls and now has a moustache and goatee.

The trio played the three young children in the Brockman family. Actors Hugh Dennis and Claire Skinner played their on-screen parents. The hit show aired from 2007 to 2016.

Since the show, Ramona, Tyger, and Daniel have continued to pursue their acting careers. Daniel has had a number of other acting roles and was even nominated for a Children's Bafta for his role in the BBC adaptation of Just William. In 2010 he played a young Stephen Fry in Sky comedy Little Crackers. He is also a semi-professional rugby player.

Just like her co-star, Ramona has taken on a number of big acting roles, including parts in The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, The King's Speech and A Louder Silence. She contributed to Florence Given's book Women Don't Owe You Pretty, in which she spoke about being bisexual.

Tyger has been in Death in Paradise, Doctors, and Cuckoo, and has had a number of big voice-over gigs. He took part in Celebrity MasterChef in 2017 but was beaten to the prize by TV presenter Angellica Bell. In his exit speech, he said: "I'm still glad to have the experience and I’ll walk away with my head held high."
