Kim Kardashian goes back to extensions after showing her real hair has suffered
Kim Kardashian has returned to social media with lengthy blonde hair after briefly revealing much shorter 'natural' locks.
The reality TV star, 42, took to Instagram this morning with photos that showed her with waist-length platinum blonde hair, with dark roots visible.
The photos showed Kim posing with her eldest son Saint West, seven, as they hugged wearing matching red festive pyjamas.
The post has attracted almost a million likes on the platform. Alongside the photos, the Kardashians star wrote in the caption: "Night!" alongside heart emojis.

The clip - which was shared on Christmas Eve - showed the mother and daughter lip synching to Baby, It's Cold Outside. Kim was seen, with apparent wet hair, sitting on a bed.
Kim's hair, although not it's natural colour in the video, appeared much shorter than usual - suggesting that it's what's underneath any extensions or wigs she may wear.

She has undergone various hair transformations over the years, including going platinum blonde for the Met Gala last year - where she resembled the late Marilyn Monroe.
