Lily Allen spotted with wedding ring amid marriage 'crisis' with David Harbour
Lily Allen has been spotted out with her wedding ring on after sparking marriage crisis fears by unfollowing her husband, David Harbour, on Instagram.
The 38-year-old singer has been married to 48-year-old Stranger Things star David since 2020 and she recently gushed over him on Instagram while marking their third wedding anniversary. However, last week, the star sparked a frenzy of panic and speculation when she ‘unfollowed’ David on the social media app, causing many to question if all was well in their marriage.
Now fans of the couple may have another clue to the status of their marriage as Lily was papped in New York on Sunday with her 10-year-old daughter, Marnie - and the Smile singer’s wedding ring was firmly on. Lily was sporting paprika-red coloured hair as she steps through the street so the Big Apple - where she lives with David.
In snaps shared by the MailOnline, Lily was wearing a black jumper, white t-shirt, black jeans and white trainers and was clutching a bottle of wine in her hand. Daughter Marnie, who Lily shares with ex-husband Sam Cooper who she divorced in 2018, walked alongside her.
Last week, Lily provoked alarm among her fans when they noticed she had unfollowed David on Instagram - although he continues to follow her. A source told The Sun: “Lily and David have barely been together for the past three months and have been living separate lives. When she was in London for the Pillowman, David was spotted at one performance in July before Lily was left by herself. In her downtime, Lily would be with mates in London or her kids. When she went back to the US with them, there was no sign of David."
Lily has previously spoken highly of her husband - and she celebrated their marriage in September by sharing a snap from their wedding day on social media and playfully writing: “3 years with this guy, 2nd best decision I ever made. 1st was that dress.”
She has discussed how they met via a dating app, explaining on The Jonathan Ross Show: "It was the first time I'd been on this dating app. I was scrolling through and landed on David's profile and pressed accept. I didn't know who he was. I thought he was just like a sexy policeman from a reality TV show because he was wearing a policeman's uniform. It was a still from Stranger Things. I'd never seen Stranger Things.
"I don't even know what I was looking for. It was just something to do on holiday, swiping, it's a bit of fun. When I met him I didn’t think it was going to go anywhere. He was here filming Black Widow. He was only going to be here for a couple of months. And then it did [go somewhere].”
And she recently told People: “I'm so grateful that I'm not alone anymore, and that I have someone that I can tell everything to and who can tell me everything. We can share this experience of walking through life together. I'm always so overcome with gratitude for that, because I've been alone for most of my life.”
