Marion was all smiles as she celebrated her birthday with friends

Marion Ross celebrated her 95th birthday this week in style.

The Happy Days actress was seen out and about in Calabasas, California ahead of her birthday milestone. She dined al fresco with friends at Marmalade Cafe.

She appeared elated as she was spotted with her friends around her in the parking lot. Her short auburn hair was cropped and styled perfectly and it appeared she had a hint of blush on her cheeks and pink lipstick on her smiling face.

Marion wore a black long-sleeved turtleneck shirt along with white and black checkered pants. A watch was visible on her left wrist and she held onto a walker as she headed into the restaurant with trainers on her feet.

Marion ate lunch with friends in Calabasas to celebrate her big day (Coleman-Rayner)

One of her friends, who looked perfectly done up herself with a white pixie haircut and salmon-coloured shirt, lovingly placed a hand on Marion's back as she walked. Marion was also snapped at the table with her friends as they enjoyed the fresh air in the outdoor seating.

Marion rose to fame playing Marion Cunningham on the hit TV show Happy Days. She appeared on the show for ten years from 1974 to 1984 and was nominated for two Primetime Emmy Awards.

Her first role, however, was 70 years ago in 1953. The then 15-year-old Marion made her acting debut in Forever Female, a film starring Ginger Rogers and William Holden.

Marion's first television role was as an Irish maid on Life with Father, also in 1953. A year later she starred as Ginny Thorpe in The Lone Ranger.

The actress has shared the screen with the likes of Humphrey Bogart, Audrey Hepburn, Kirk Douglas, Doris Day, Dean Marin, Frank Sinatra, Clark Gable, and more Golden Hollywood icons.

Younger audiences would recognize Marion as the voice of Spongebob's grandmother on Spongebob Squarepants. She also played Lorelai "Trix" Gilmore on Gilmore Girls, the main Lorelai's grandmother.

She's also made guest appearances on King of the Hill, Family Guy, and the original Mission: Impossible television show. Now Marion resides in Woodland Hills, California. Her home is just minutes away from where she and friends celebrated her milestone birthday.
