Michael J Fox cheered on the New York Knicks with his wife, Tracy Pollan, Wednesday night at the Garden in New York.

The Back to the Future actor sat court side with his wife of 35 years as he watched the Boston Celtics narrowly beat the Knicks 108 to 104. Though his team lost, Michael seemed happy to be there and spend time with his wife.

He donned dark jeans, a white shirt, and a blue and orange Knicks jacket. Tracy wore black pants and a knitted white striped shirt. She finished off the look with a gold necklace and light blue coloured nails that clutched her small black purse.

Also in their row were New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge and his wife Samantha Bracksieck. Aaron wore an all-black outfit with white trainers and Samantha wore a black shirt with flared denim jeans.

Michael appeared in good spirits, not letting his battle with Parkinson's Disease affect his fun. The 62-year-old actor first publicly announced he had the incurable disease in 1998, seven years after his first diagnosis.

Parkinson's disease affects the brain, causing uncontrollable movements and issues with balance and coordination. Michael launched The Michael J. Fox Foundation in 2000 which is dedicated to finding a cure for the disease.

The foundation's website claims it's raised more than $1.75 billion in research. "Parkinson's patients are the experts on what we have," Michael said in a statement on the website, "We have a responsibility as patients to share our experience - what works for us, what we respond to, what we can contribute to research."

His wife Tracy has stayed by his side throughout his health battles. The two married in 1988 and share four children - Sam Michael, 34, twins Aquinnah Kathleen and Schuyler Frances, 28, and Esme Annabelle, 21.

In July the couple celebrated their latest anniversary on their respective Instagram accounts. Along with some throwback pictures of the two, Michael wrote: "35 years of laughter, living, listening and loving you @tracy.pollan . Thank you for it all. Forever yours, Mike."

At the premiere of his documentary Still: The Michael J Fox Movie, the actor gushed over his wife, saying: "Any good in our family, anything good that we do, comes from her."
