Strictly's Adam Thomas beams alongside Luba following rehearsal 'ban'
Strictly Come Dancing star Adam Thomas was all smiles after he was pictured outside the Morning Live's studio alongside his professional dance partner Luba Mushtuk.
The pair seemed to have put their recent set back firmly behind them if their broad smiles were anything to go by, as Adam, 35, was reportedly banned from rehearsals and gym training after getting the winter flu. The duo were invited to appear on BBC's Morning Live to talk about all things Strictly, but while they were waiting, Adam posted three videos of him and Luba and shared it with fans. In one video, the pair can be seen bickering over the fact that the Waterloo Road star had bought himself a coffee and forgot to buy her one.
At the beginning of the video Adam tells fans: "Luba is not happy with me this morning because I forgot to get her a coffee." And in response, Luba says: "How is it possible to go and get yourself a coffee and forget to get me a coffee. I bring you food, snacks water..." Adam then replied: "I said that I am sorry and it wont happen again can we let it go now?" Just before bursting into fits of giggles, Luba told Adam that she had dropped it but noticing her body language, the actor jokingly said: "It's definitely not gone has it?"
Adam's Strictly journey hasn't been a smooth ride as he was recently reportedly banned from rehearsal after falling ill, which many feared could have put him at a disadvantage. The Waterloo Road star revealed he had fallen ill earlier this month and posted a picture of himself in bed. Taking to social media, he shared with fans: “Of all weeks to be poorly!”, and said he was drinking Berocca and coffee in a bid to get well again. But Adam wasn't prepared to let his illness get in the way of his dancing experience as he bounced back to appear the BBC show's spin-off It Takes Two – just two days before the live show.
He also shared a snap of himself with ice packs on his knees on his Instagram story – hinting he had been training that day as well after the ban had been lifted. BBC bosses were said to be terrified that the winter flu, which is what bosses thought Adam had, could have wiped out the cast – and this was the reason that the actor was stopped from training. An insider told The Sun at the time: "Strictly have been banning the celebs and the pros from training if they’re ill in a bid to stop them from spreading it. Naturally everyone on the show just wants to show up and carry on. But if they’re spreading their lurgy it could have a big knock on effect. Strictly should be about sparkles and sequins – not snot!"
