Georgia Harrison has recalled the cruel thing the one boyfriend she has had since the Stephen Bear case said to her when they split.

The former Love Island star recalled her former partner being a "big support to me" throughout their relationship amid her legal battle with Bear, but revealed the devastating words he hurled at her as they split one month prior to Bear being jailed. Georgia also shared her fears regarding dating men in the future during a candid chat.

Georgia took ex Bear to court in a landmark trial after he filmed them having sex without her permission and shared the footage online. The one-time Celebrity Big Brother winner was accused of planning to film himself having sex with Georgia at his home in August 2020, and sharing the CCTV video on his OnlyFans account without her consent.

In March this year, 33-year-old Bear was jailed for 21 months after being found guilty of voyeurism and two counts of disclosing private sexual photos and films with intent to cause distress. The disgraced reality star has also been order to sign the sex offenders register and pay Georgia over £200,000 – the highest sum ever awarded in an image abuse case.

At the end of last year, Georgia revealed the happy news she had found love again and was rebuilding her life with a mystery man at her side who she credited with helping her through her ordeal. But following their split in February, Georgia has revealed the cruel words her most recent ex said to her as their relationship fell apart.

Speaking to Elizabeth Day’s How To Fail podcast, she said: “It’s been really hard. I did have one relationship since it happening, which in a way was a big, big support to me. But actually at the end of our relationship, one of the things he said to me when we were splitting up was, ‘Who would want to be with you anyway, you’ve been all over the internet.’”

The 28-year-old continued: “I think that was really, really hard for me to hear. Firstly from someone who’d made me rebuild my trust, but secondly that’s like my biggest fear – that men are now going to be concerned about being with me in the future. Because this is something that could arise, especially if you go on to have a family with me. It’s something that come up in the future with our children. It does worry me that people don’t value me the same because of it.”

Georgia said the heartbreaking comments from her ex, who she never went public with as he’s not in the public eye, broke her and left her “crying in my bed for two days”. Asked if she has trust issues now, she replied: “I think so.”

Instead of letting life get her down, inspirational Georgia has just released a new book called Taking Back My Power and successfully campaigned for the Online Safety Bill, which will make it easier to prosecute people for sharing intimate images without consent and jail them. Remarkably, she feels “compassion” for Bear, who has lost everything after being sent to prison.

Branding him a “really, really lost soul”, Georgia said: “I think his family should have got him help a long time ago and he wouldn’t be where he is now.” Asked if she was scared about Bear being released, Georgia said she had now moved back to her flat in Essex near where they used to be neighbours and “for the first time in a long time” she walks down the street without any fear.

She added: “It’s not like I ever feared he would attack me, I just fear his presence in general, like him driving past, having to see him. But I don’t fear that he will try and do anything to hurt me. If anything, I think I just worry for his own mental health and safety. I don’t know what he’s going to do with his life now because he’s just gone so far beyond helping.”
