The Xiaomi 14 will feature a 6.36-in screen, a triple-lens camera, a lightning fast 120Hz screen and, of course, the new Snapdragon chip—beating Samsung to the chase.

Full details about the device will be announced soon - including price and release date - but one thing is certain, it will be supremely powerful and highly efficient.

The new Gen 3 processor is around 20% more powerful than the previous Gen 2 chip, which features in the top-end Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. It's also better on battery life, helps shoot photos and videos like a pro and brings console-style graphics to the device in your pocket.

So users of the Xiaomi 14 can expect some seriously speedy gaming performance, as well as great results with onboard AI capabilities such as photo editing.

Xiaomi may be the first smartphone manufacturer to offer the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 but it's not the only one. Companies including Honor, ASUS, OnePlus, OPPO, Sony, ZTE, and others have all confirmed that they will release devices with the chip
