Tyson Fury taunts "fat sausage" Francis Ngannou after he refuses to remove top

Tyson Fury has goaded "fat sausage" Francis Ngannou to take his top off as he claimed that he is in considerably better shape than his rival.

The two heavyweight champions will face off on Saturday night in Saudi Arabia, with Fury the heavy favourite even though he sports a considerably flabbier physique than former UFC kingpin Ngannou. They faced off for the first time last month with the Brit removing his top at their London press conference, while the Cameroonian opted against it.

And at today's open workout, Fury again whipped off his shirt while speaking to the official broadcast duo of Dev Sahni and Andy Clarke. After Ngannou claimed that he was doing the boxer "a favour" by making the crossover possible in his sport, Fury responded by mocking his rival.

"That's a good quote," Fury replied when quizzed on the idea. "But let me give you a quote now; Francis Ngannou is a big fat sausage. How about that? Have we ever seen the man take his top off? No. He's a big fat sausage, that's why he won't take his top off, he's embarrassed of his body.

"Honestly, believe that! If it was up to Francis he would fight me with his t-shirt on, fact. I don't [think he's in tremendous shape], I think he's a big fat sausage." He then removed his shirt to show off his own physique, before adding: "You want to see a man in good shape? This is a man in good shape, ready to do 30 rounds, that's a man in good shape there.

"That's a man who can do 25 rounds non-stop, that's fit. Look at the shape I'm in, I'm ripped, I'm an adonis and I'm ready for a fight! If it's not [a war] then I'll be disappointed, I told you that already, I've trained for 12 rounds, I've got to say that because I'm a 12-round fighter, but ten rounds or less.

"If it's anything easier then I've had an easy night but if not I'm prepared for battle no matter how I get it. I am addicted, I'm 35-years-old, I've got in excess of £150million in my account. I don't need to be here to box, I love this and I get paid for it! Come on, peace out!"

It follows Ngannou claiming that the boxer was trying to "distract" with his antics at their launch press conference, which included branding himself a "fat pig". In an interview with Top Rank Boxing's YouTube channel, Ngannou said: "He has a lot of downsides, he's really good at distracting people because when you look at him he really doesn't look like the guy.

"He must be playing a mind game to be saying 'oh look at me, look at my stomach, I'm a fat pig'. No you are not, I have seen him, I have been ringside watching him and I'm like 'how can this be possible?' But you're watching it."
