Tyson Fury warned he could be "exposed" by fellow champion Oleksandr Usyk
Tyson Fury has warned that he may be "exposed" by Oleksandr Usyk when the pair fight, should he first get past Francis Ngannou this weekend.
Former UFC heavyweight champion Ngannou is such an heavy underdog that it has been announced by both sides that Fury and Usyk have signed up for an undisputed title fight, which could take place in Riyadh as soon as December. And assuming that the inevitable result takes place, there will finally be a definitive champion in the division for the first time in the four-belt era.
Fury is the early favourite over Usyk given his size and movement at the weight, while the Ukrainan has struggled at times since moving up from cruiserweight after unifying that division. But two-weight world champion Tim Bradley believes that big flaws can be exposed for the Brit if the pair meet.
“I was watching Fury the other night and he’s a big guy and we pay attention to what he does well, but we don’t pay attention to what he doesn’t do well. He boxes in a lot of straight lines, he does,” Bradley told FightHype . “Yeah, he can box laterally, but he boxes in a lot of straight lines and he’s been boxing in a lot of straight lines recently.
“If you go back and watch him against Wilder and watch the first couple of rounds, you see when he’s stepping back he’s stepping back in a straight line. You’re going to see that if he continues that, Usyk will follow him out. He’s going to be looking to follow him out because Fury’s feet aren’t set.

"He’s not punching and he’s just stepping back and trying to get out of range and you’re going to see Usyk attacking his body a whole hell of a lot because he’s so tall, so big. It’s not like he crouches down and tucks his elbows in to block shots. He tried to get his whole body out of the way and he’s pretty slow on his feet.”
Neither Fury or Usyk have tasted defeat in their professional careers, although there was recent controversy over the Ukrainian's knockout win over Daniel Dubois. Debate raged over whether a shot landed by the Brit in the fifth round that floored Usyk for more than a ten count was a low blow or not, with the champion eventually recovering and stopping his rival in Poland.
