Bodybuilder, 13, with ‘Hulk’ physique who works out every day of the week
A young bodybuilder has been attracting huge attention on the internet with his ‘hulk’-esque physique - because he is only 13 years old.
Social media sensation Eric English has garnered more than half a million Instagram followers through showing off his surprising gym videos, showing off a body toned beyond his years. The Scottsdale, Arizona, resident has gained a number of sponsorship deals off the back of his huge social media following - and even has a website where prospective bodybuilders can checkout the fitness plan which for Eric has been such a success.

Christopher, Eric’s dad, said: “I am very proud of my son, Eric. He has worked consistently and pushed himself daily to achieve a very masculine look.” It all began when he watched a push-up challenge on YouTube, before beginning to work out for over 18 months - looking up to legends of personal fitness such as Alex Eubank and David Laid. “I love how his story is inspiring other young people to become more active and physically fit in a day and age where we can so easily get lost in electronic gadgets,” Christopher added.

Much of his motivation derives from moving from his original home - Fredericton, Canada - to the USA due to family medical reasons, leaving his older siblings behind.

The young bodybuilder said: “I feel quite confident with my physique because I’m very lean for my age. Usually, people get impressed when I remove my shirt because shirts and hoodies hide my lean muscles. People are impressed by how lean and muscled I am for my age, that’s what made me popular.
“I currently work out five days a week at home with my own equipment or right outside my house for cardio as I don’t have gym access at the moment,” he added. “The best reaction is the fans who send me their progress and thank me because I inspired them.
“But the craziest reaction I had from a fan was a French boy who came to insult me and said ‘You stole my girlfriend’ because his girlfriend had broken up with him because she fell in love with me! It seems that social media quickly exaggerates everything in the minds of fans, especially younger fans.”
