Jake Paul responds to allegation he was on drugs during brother Logan's fight

Jake Paul has denied he was on drugs during his brother Logan 's fight against Dillon Danis.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer was in attendance at the Manchester Arena earlier this month to watch Logan's first fight in over two years. Logan won by disqualification after Danis, a longtime teammate of UFC legend Conor McGregor, tried to choke out his rival after barely throwing any punches in the fight.

In the moments after Logan's win, Jake was spotted on cameras repeatedly touching his nose which led to many fans on social media accusing him of taking drugs. Jake has laughed off the allegations and insisted he was simply sweaty after his brother's win because of the mass brawl that took place in the ring.

"Everyone knows that I’m the sweatiest person in the world, so I get in the ring to be there for my brother. I put my hat on and I’m going like this trying to get the sweat off my face. Obviously it looks f****ng crazy that I’m doing in this ring. I think it definitely didn't help that I got on camera and said 'You can run but you can't hide' [to Tommy Fury ]."

Paul is preparing for his next fight after beating Nate Diaz in August as he returns to the ring on December 15 against a yet-to-be-announced opponent. The social media star was unfazed by allegations of him being on drugs but his girlfriend Jutta Leerdam was particularly wound up by them.

"It's an image people that trying to create of you, that isn't true. People don't even understand how serious you take your sport and how healthy you live. You take super good care of your body and you eat super healthy. People like to take away credibility from you and like to discredit you, it really really annoys me," she said.
