Shania Twain divides fans with recent performance outfits on sold-out tour

Shania Twain is currently setting the world ablaze with her global Queen Of Me Tour - and she has been livening up her stage with her eye-catching outfit choices as much as her astounding vocal skills.

The 58-year-old Canadian pop legend has been belting out hits since the early 1990s and she’s collated some of her biggest songs for her current setlist. And while some fans are loving all aspects of her tour shows, some fans have taken a look at some of Shania’s outfits and deemed ‘that don’t impress me much’.

Over the weekend, the Man! I Feel Like a Woman! singer took to the stage in Buffalo, in New York State, in the USA to wow crowds at the KeyBank Center Arena - without falling over in front of everyone. And taking to Instagram after her show, the singer shared photos of herself on stage sporting a fluorescent pink tutu and sparkling legging tights.

Sharing the images online, Shania added the caption: “We were ROCKIN’ in Buffalo... I took inspiration from some of my favorite female punk rockers for my show outfit - @benatargiraldo, @blondieofficial, @heartofficial… edgy femininity. I just love the contrast of the pink tutu against the boots! Plus jumping around onstage is much easier in docs than heels!!”

But the star’s outfit divided fans - with many expressing their delight over her fashion selection, while many others took issue with her style. One less impressed fan wrote: "Shania, I'm like one of your biggest fans, but some of your outfits are not you. The Shania that changed country music forever is the Shania we want back you had style and class."

Another agreed, writing: "I love your music! But I wish you would choose better outfits for your performances! We miss the classy leopard outfits & the black top hat & coat looks." Another fan branded the ensemble an: "Outfit fail! But i like the hair like that." While another suggested the Canadian star was trying to emulate a younger performer, writing: "Stop trying to be Myley Cyrus."

But many others flooded Shania's comment's section with words of encouragement. One write: "You rocked that pink tutu! Glad you played who’s bed have your boots been under since my name is in it and not many songs do... my friends and I had so much fun dancing and singing along."

Another wrote: "I appreciated the edgy femininity. The tulle was everything. Great show last night." Another fan gushed: "You’re so beautiful Shania, I love you." And a further fan wrote: "you look AMAZING keep rocking it!!" Shania is now back in her Native Canada where she is performing to crowds in Toronto, Quebec and Montreal - before she will return to the USA later in the week.
