Jenny Powell put on an ageless display as she slipped into tight-fitting swimwear for a daring dive at a luxurious-looking countryside lake.

The 55-year-old telly legend, who previously credited her age-defying looks to "nana naps", showcased her remarkable physique in a snug, grey swimsuit. The former Celebrity Masterchef star shared her outing on Instagram.

In one photograph, she struck a pose beside the glistening water, accompanied by her beloved canine companion. Calling the lake her "happy place", she told fans she was finding things in life that really make her happy, including the great outdoors.

Jenny captioned the upload: "Find the simple things that make you happy in nature and make the most of these sunny days. And maybe strike a pose (chihuahuas @peggyincolours optional!) Where's your happy place outdoors?"

Her fans flooded the comments section, with one admirer writing: "Beauty right there, always stunning English rose." Another chimed in, saying: "Gorgeous pic, Jenny. Love your four-legged friend too.

"All good wishes to you," while another concurred, simply stating: "Looking great." Recently, Powell revealed a surprising career shift away from the world of television. She has chosen to embark on a new journey as a yoga instructor.

She shared with her followers: "I have procrastinated, deliberated, and finally pushed the button and committed to starting my online yoga teaching training course. I'm a technophobe, and in my mid-fifties, some would say I've left things a bit late, but I say noooooo!"

"We are a generation of women who are different from those who came before us; we are empowered and ready to make our second half the best half. Guys and gals, whatever you've been putting off, just be honest about what's stopping you and imagine THAT feeling once it's been achieved."

It comes after the presenter credited "nana naps" and regular exercise classes as the secret behind her enviable figure, as she's often told she and her lookalike daughter could be sisters due to her youthful looks.

"I try to do three to four intensive hot yoga classes a week, and the other thing is sleep," the mum-of-two explained earlier last year. "I always have a 30 to 45-minute nap during the day. I've taught myself to do that and it's massive," she continues.

"I sleep in a different bed, so I don't associate it with my night-time sleep. I'll go into my daughter Polly's bed or the spare room. I'll normally have a lie-down around 3pm, and in the winter it's particularly cosy because it's starting to get dark around then. I call it my 'nana nap'," the star added when chatting with Closer.
