Inside Strictly's Nigel Harman's very private marriage to Hollywood A-list wife
Strictly star Nigel Harman burst onto the dance floor in week one with his incredible Paso Doble with his professional partner, Katya Jones. The former EastEnders actor won huge praise from the judges, who described it as the "dance of the night".
By week two the couple were ready to build on their Strictly A-game and performed a passionate Viennese Waltz. Nigel was left disappointed by the judges comments as Shirley praised his “graceful arms and lovely connection" but noted there was "too much up and down, and technical errors”. The studio audience booed the head judge causing her to lash out and exclaimed: "You might learn something, so hold on a minute."
Anton Du Beke added: “Immaculate intimacy and storytelling, work on your topline but lovely performance," but Craig Revel Horwood disagreed: “You’re being very picky, you two, besides the technical issues which are easily fixable, you have ability and people will vote for it, well done.”
It was enough and the couple were voted through to week three, which will see them take to the Strictly ballroom for Movie week. Fans were also thrilled with Nigel and Katya's chemistry. One fan wrote on Twitter : "Nigel and Katya’s chemistry is off the scale#Strictly #SCD," and another said: "It’s so good to see Katya show off her talent with Nigel after being paired up with others in the past she always produces such good routines , her choreography and storytelling is amazing. Let’s go Katya and Nigel #StrictlyComeDancing #strictly."

His character was cruelly killed in front of his love interest and adopted sister, Sharon Watts, played by Letitia Dean, back in 2005 and he remains a fan favourite of the BBC soap.

Away from TV, Nigel is married to wife of 12 years, Lucy Liemann, who is a successful actor just like her husband. Lucy has starred in popular TV shows such as The Bill, The IT Crowd, Midsomer Murders, Agatha Raisin, Moving Wallpaper and Reggie Perrin. However, she is probably best known for her role as Lucy in the third part of the the Jason Bourne film series, The Bourne Ultimatum.
The couple tied the knot in 2011, and a year later Lucy gave birth to their daughter. Nigel and Lucy keep their marriage as private as possible but the couple met on the set of Hotel Babylon, which they both starred in. Even though his daughter, who is believed to be around 11-years-old is too young to watch from the studio, as guests have to be 16, she has been proudly cheering on from home.
Nigel's professional partner Katya Jones explained that his daughter couldn't be prouder of her dad, adding: "I will tell you her little face - she was so proud! That's all that matters, isn't it, at the end of the day." And cheering him on from the crowd watching the action on the ballroom live is Lucy.
Not only that but Lucy and his daughter have even been to watch Nigel train with Katya. Nigel told Radio Times: "My wife and daughter popped in to watch us go through our routine and they really enjoyed it. It was really lovely."
