Jamie Redknapp sends adoring birthday message to wife Frida in heartfelt post
Jamie Redknapp has paid tribute to his wife on her 38th birthday, two years after the couple tied the knot.
The retired English football player took to Instagram on Thursday to share a series of photos of Frida Andersson in honour of the special occasion, much to the excitement of his devout online following. In the first snap on the carousel, the Swedish model can be seen smiling in front of the Pantheon in Rome.
"Happy birthday to my incredible wife," the 50-year-old captioned the gushing shout-out, before adding, "Have the best day because you deserve it." Elsewhere in the post, the couple pose with Raphael at a vacation resort. In another shot, she is pictured lying down next to the couple's toddler who was born just weeks after the two tied the knot in October 2021.
The public tribute comes after Jamie's ex Louise Redknapp revealed she was in her first relationship since their shock split. The singer is dating businessman Drew Michael, telling the Mirror last month things are 'all good between them' in their early days.

The former couple resided in Surrey with their two sons; Charlie, 19, and fourteen-year-old Beau, until their shock separation in October 2017. That December, the couple were granted a divorce degree after 19 years of marriage. Louise later said that she had felt like a "sort of Stepford wife" in her relationship with the former England midfielder, having spent nearly two decades dedicated to family life and raising kids.

After making it to the finals of BBC's Strictly Come Dancing in 2016 with partner Kevin Clifton and rediscovering her passion for the performance arts, she admitted that she "couldn't just go back" to being a stay-at-home mum. She even confessed that the thought of never feeling the buzz of being on stage again made her "sick" and that she was no longer content to do side-gigs.

"I wanted to sing, I wanted to perform. I wanted to go back to work on a stage in front of an audience."
Louise, 48, has since gone on to star in the 2019 West End production of 9-5, as well as The Masked Singer and the BBC gameshow, I Can See Your Voice. In June 2023, she returned to the recording studio to produce her Greatest Hits album.
"I wanted to make music I loved rather than just ticking a box for what worked in the industry. I think I’ve forever had to fight to prove myself [...] I'm still fighting to prove myself. I feel that the hardest hurdle is to keep on knocking down those doors to prove myself," she told Fault magazine at the time.
