Jada Pinkett Smith appears to be on good terms with her husband Will Smith, despite announcing their split last week.

The Red Table Talk host, 52, shocked fans when she revealed they have secretly been separated since 2016. Jada said they're now trying to "figure out" what the future of their marriage will look like, adding that they aren't heading for divorce.

Following Jada's announcement, Will took to Instagram to share a video of himself enjoying some time on a boat. Captioning the post, he revealed he has turned his "notifications off". In the clip, the Hollywood actor had a nap inside the boat before enjoying the fresh air.

Will's phone buzzed with several notifications, all of which he ignored. Over the top of the video, he wrote: "Fun fact about me - I can take a nap almost anywhere". It seems Jada has seen the funny side of Will's video as she left two crying face emojis in the comments.

After the shock news of their split, Jada and Will are working to "reconcile". While speaking on the Today show on Monday, the actress and podcast host revealed: "There's no finding another great love," before dropping another bombshell. She revealed: "We are working very hard at bringing our relationship together."

Jada also said they are "in a deep healing space". She then explained how there is "no divorce on paper" and "no divorce in theory".

Jada's latest comments come after Will finally responded to his wife's statements about their turbulent relationship in her upcoming memoir Worthy, which comes out on Tuesday. In an email to the New York Times, Will said that Jada's memoir "woke him up".

He added: "When you’ve been with someone for more than half your life, a sort of emotional blindness sets in. And you can all too easily lose your sensitivity to their hidden nuances and subtle beauties." Paraphrasing Will in their piece, the outlet said he has realised Jada is more "resilient, clever and compassionate than he'd understood".
