Dillon Danis calls out Jake Paul - and promises to retire if he loses by KO

Dillon Danis has called out Jake Paul for a boxing fight despite being disqualified from his bout with brother Logan.

Danis lost the first five rounds of his fight with the elder Paul brother last weekend before attempting to choke his rival in the final session. Danis' unsuccessful attempt saw security guards flood the ring and the fight was stopped premature and with Paul declared the winner.

Danis has shown little humility in the wake of his embarrassing performance and has now called on Jake to accept a fight with him. Danis went so far as to promise to retire if the YouTuber is able to knock him out. "Hey Jake Paul, your brother hits like a b****; if you knock me out I’ll retire forever and give everyone who likes this $2,000," he wrote on Twitter.

Danis embarked on a vicious trolling campaign against Paul and his fiancee, Nina Agdal, in the build-up to their fight, forcing Ms. Agdal to take legal action and secure a restraining order against the fighter. And Paul and Danis have continued their back-and-forth since the final bell.

Taking to social media, Paul wrote: "I think Dillion perfectly embodies the problem with society. All s*** talk behind a screen. No action. Just another peasant running his mouth contributing nothing to this world but negativity. So happy I got to expose this clown."

Danis responded: "What did you prove? You didn't even tickle me. You backed out of an MMA fight against me. Everyone knew I'm not a boxer, but unlike others, I took on the challenge even with everything in your favour: weight, steroids, rounds, rules, judges, referees... the list goes on. I won the war." Paul has consistently denied taking performance-enhancing drugs.

Neither man is likely to return to the ring soon with Danis set to return to MMA where he had carved out a career with Bellator, while Paul likely to resume his professional wrestling career with the WWE having called out Rey Mysterio in the aftermath of his first boxing triumph.
