If you're looking at improving your Meta Quest 3 experience, picking up some new accessories may be the way forward. Here are my choices for the best Meta Quest 3 accessories.

After months of anticipation, the Meta Quest 3 is finally here, following its announcement earlier this year and despite not procuring the best review from me, I'm still satisfied, for now. I've been able to drastically improve some of the pressure points that the Meta Quest 3 is currently facing by decking it out with a load of accessories, so I've rounded up all of my favourites, which I've tried and tested myself. Unfortunately, these accessories aren't listed for sale in Australia just yet, but we'll be sure to update this page once they are.

Meta Quest 3 Elite Strap (with or without battery)

With the fabric straps on the Meta Quest 3 just not doing it for some, me included, picking up a Meta Quest 3 Elite Strap might be the best option to improve the comfort of the headset. The Elite Strap feels like a major game changer for the Meta Quest headsets, taking a lot of the pressure off of your face, where the headset usually rests.

Considering, unlike the PSVR 2, that the Meta Quest 3 is standalone, you actually have to consider the battery usage on the device, meaning you may want to pick up a power pack along with your Elite Strap to give you that extra boost of playtime.

  • Meta Quest 3 Elite Strap with battery | £129 | $129.99

Meta Quest 3 Charging Dock

If you're someone who uses their Meta Quest 3 frequently whilst also being forgetful and never plugging your headset in – no shame, I'm 100% guilty of this too – then getting a charging dock is a fantastic way to save yourself the self-hatred when you're just really in the mood to jump into a game, but your headset is dead. This is a must-have.

Meta Quest Link Cable

For those who are hoping to play games off of their PC on their Meta Quest 3, a Meta Link cable is a perfect addition to your VR collection. Despite typically playing PC games using Virtual Desktop on my Meta Quest 3, there are some titles, like Onward, where I just want as minimal input lag as possible which can be achieved through a wired connection.

Zenni VR Prescription Lenses

As a glasses wearer, I have to say that using a VR headset with my spectacles is often a frustrating experience, from my lenses fogging up due to how warm I'm getting, down to the headset feeling like it's literally pushing my frames into my head, it's just an overall bad time. I managed to get my hands on a pair of Zenni VR lenses and they have been game-changing for my virtual reality experience, and I would say these are a must-have for any VR gamers who require glasses.

Meta Quest 3 Carrying Case

For those hoping to take their VR headsets with them on the go, the Meta Quest 3 carrying case is a great pick-up with space for your headset, charger, and controllers all in one place. The design is also super simple, and the case feels extremely sturdy, meaning you never have to worry about any bumps on the way.

  • Meta Quest 3 Carrying Case | £69.99 | $69.99

Meta Quest 3 Silicone Facial Interface

Although it's somewhat frustrating that Meta is now charging for this accessory, which was sent out to all Meta Quest 2 users for free, I believe this piece of kit is essential for VR users, especially those who get sweaty. Having a Meta Quest 3 Silicone Facial Interface stops the mesh fabric from absorbing all of your sweat when you're gaming, making for a more hygienic headset.

  • Meta Quest 3 Silicone Facial Interface | £39.99 | $39.99

Meta Quest 3 Active Straps

If you find your Meta Quest 3 controllers going flying all too often, or you're not a fan of the small straps that come with them, then you can get your hands on some Meta Quest 3 Active Straps, which allow you to loop the controllers around your fingers and keep them firmly in place. I found these particularly useful when playing Beat Saber, since I tend to just fling my arms all over the place.

  • Meta Quest 3 Active Straps | £49.99 | $49.99
