Big Brother Kerry brutally unimpressed by Farida's online makeup tutorial claims
Big Brother contestants Kerry Riches and Farida Khalifa appear to be glacially gliding towards an argument as every interaction between them is peppered with tension - not least a conversation about make-up tutorials.
While 40-year-old Kerry entered the Big Brother house revealing she is an NHS worker from Essex, 50-year-old Farida has been relatively quiet about her own career as a make-up artist. The proudly muslim emerging reality star from Wolverhampton has previously explained how she has built up a career while embracing her beliefs.
She told viewers before entering the house: “A lot of people think that wearing a headscarf might stop you from having opportunities, whereas for me, it's been completely the opposite. I embrace it with confidence and it's actually given me lots of opportunities.”
During Thursday night’s highlights show on ITV2, Farida opened up about her career as a make-up expert, turning to Kelly to proudly tell her about her achievements as an online make-up advisor and how she helps other women pain perfect make-up. But Kerry, far from being impressed, was blunt with her fellow housemate and undermined her achievements.

Farida boasted of: "There’s thousands and thousands and thousands of user" tuning in to watch her, but Kerry abruptly interrupted her to state: "That watch you?"

Looking a little taken aback, Farida then said: "Yeah! My video all go viral. I’ve got like 300, 400,000 views just on one video" - to which Kerry then replied very a lacklustre “wow”. Farida continued, saying: "And when I livestream, if I live-streamed every day, trust me, I have had 400 followers in just 15 or 20 minutes while I’ve live-streamed."
Kerry dismissed the informant and claimed "It’s a different world" - while Farida concurred and said: "It is."

One fan wrote online via X: “Kerry jealous of Faridia , horrible response to her here.” And another asked: “Kerry hates Farida so much... but why?”
Another viewer took to the social media app formerly known as Twitter to stated: “Farida casually flexing her half celeb status at pressed panini Kerry.” Other fans of the show commented that Kerry seemed bitterly jealous of Farida’s achievements.
One commented: “Omg Farida Lee Art telling Kerry how famous she is. BOOYAKA IN THE BIG BROTHER HOUSE! Lerrem know!” And another wrote: "Kerry the Karen is seething with jealousy, silly bint #BBUK.”
While others suggested they sided with Kerry’s view, with one writing: “Kerry shocked people watching farida. Tbh I’m with Kerry I wouldn’t wanna watch her lmao.” And another suggested the duo had more common with each other than they would likely admit, writing: “Kerry and Farida are obsessed with each other.”
