Alex Scott and Jess Glynne 'inseparable' as they cosy up at Attitude Awards
Alex Scott and Jess Glynne were all smiles on Wednesday night as they enjoyed a night out together at an awards bash where their romance was made public.
The 38-year-old footballer turned reporter and 33-year-old chart topping star Jess were guests at the 2023 annual Attitude Awards in North London in the middle of the week. And the couple, who recently embarked on a romance together, looked like a pin-up pairing as they laughed and danced the night away together.
Alex was at the glitzy bash in London’s Roundhouse theatre in Chalk Farm where she accepted the Sport Award in front of a host of other celebrities including singer Becky Hill, footballer Jake Daniels - and Honorary Gay Award winner Dame Shirley Bassey. Jess was also among the celebs watching on and she cheered for Alex as she won her gong.
And by all accounts, it seems like the smitten pair couldn't keep their hands off each other during the rest of the night as they partied until 1am. A source told The Sun: “Jess and Alex were really tactile. They had friends with them and chatted as a group during the ceremony but at the afterparty, they were inseparable.

The source went on to explain that the new couple had been keen to avoid the gauntlet of interviewers on the awards red carpet so as to avoid questions about the blossoming romance. However, body language of the pair seemed to do all the talking alter in the night as photographs shared online have shown them looking very relaxed and attentive in each others’ company.
During her acceptance speech, Alex - who has openly discussed her past relationships with women in the past - hinted she is becoming more confident in her own skin and her own sexuality. She told the audience: “Over the last couple of years there’s been a lot of growth to realise the person who’s now very comfortable in their own skin. I know my values, I know what I am and the community that I represent.”

In a 2018 interview with Attitude, Jess said she liked keeping her own romantic life close to her heart. She said: "[My sexuality] is just not something that I've never enjoyed talking about because I am a private person, and it's not something that is necessary for people to know. It's not something that I'm scared of, it's just something that I don't entertain in a deep way. I don't like to put myself in a box in anything in my life."
