Gwen Stefani is unrecognisable in throwback photo as fans miss her 'fresh' face
Gwen Stefani stunned her fans with her 'unrecognizable' throwback look as they discussed her changing appearance.
The No Doubt singer became a topic of conversation with fans posting on a pop-culture Reddit board where her sense of style was raised as a talking point. The group shared several images of Gwen, 54, over the years including from day-to-day life, red carpet appearances and live shows as they heaped praise on her for her individual looks.
The chart-topper was something of an icon in the '90s thanks to her striking glamorous look which incorporated white blonde hair and red lipstick. Many took to the group to admit that Gwen had inspired them in that era thanks to her strong fashion sense.
One Redditor wrote: "Such an icon. I was a teenager in Southern California in the 90s and she was the epitome of cool." A second added: "She was every 90s girls [sic] favourite! She was so different and unique for her time!"
However, sharing more recent images of Gwen fans began to critique her changing look admitting to 'missing' her past appearance when compared to her modern-day image. One fan questioned: "Why doesn’t she look like herself here? Gorgeous dress but I’d never guess this was her."

A fourth accused: "Yeah the lip fillers have changed her looks a lot. She has naturally thin lips and always made them look gorgeous - sucks that she felt the need to change them." A fifth agreed: "People don’t realize how much filler can alter your face."
Another fan observed: "I miss her old face. She’s had so much done she’s unrecognizable." Gwen meanwhile has been busy coaching her son with Gavin Rossdale's, Kingston, in the art of performing, with him recently taking to the stage in front of a small audience at step-dad Blake Shelton's bar with a surprise solo performance. The 17-year-old showed fans that he was following in his parents' musical footsteps as he was filmed singing at Blake's Ole Red bar in Oklahoma.
In the TikTok video showing off Kingston's talent, the teenager can be seen taking to the stage with a guitarist and a keyboardist and comfortably chatting with the crowd before starting to sing. He kept it casual, wearing a baggy Carhartt tee and jeans while the crowd cheered him on as he hit impressive notes before ending his performance and thanking the audience.
“Love you guys, thank you for being here!” he gushed. “Thank you, it means everything to me, really. I hope you guys had a great night. Enjoy yourselves!”
