Sue Radford's home renovation after family's 19th holiday in 21 months
Mum of 22 Sue Radford has revealed that her kids' beloved 'park' has been scrapped over safety concerns, just three years after it was installed.
The 48-year-old, best known as the matriarch of Britain's largest family, took to social media on Sunday to share the update with her 517k followers. It comes just a few weeks after Sue and husband Noel, 52, returned from their lavish holiday to Miami, Florida with 20 of their children.
The family erected a 'park' in the backyard of their Morecombe mansion in May 2020, complete with a mud kitchen, a swing set, a climbing frame, a slide and a treehouse. Colourful children's tepees and a waterpark were also added to create a truly unique recreational setting.

Sue took to Instagram to share the disappointing news with her followers, positing a photo of the empty garden after the impressive park had been removed.
"“We are going to be replacing it, it’s had to come down as it wasn’t safe for the kids to play on,” she added, highlighting her despair with a crying emoji.

The Radford's shared a video of them erecting the play zone on their YouTube channel, much the excitement of their loyal fanbase. In the upload, entitled 'TWO DAY PARK BUILD', viewers were given an insight into the process of assembling the fancy outdoor space.
The makeover also saw the addition of a wrap around outdoor seating area where Sue and Noel could relax while watching over their younger children having fun. They even had a £26k hot tub air lifted by a crane into the garden back in 2022, which has reportedly been a huge hit with both the couple and their energetic kids.

The busy couple purchased the four-storey Victorian property, a former care home in Morecambe, for £240,000 nearly 20 years ago. With far more kids than bedrooms, many of the Radford children are required to share the same sleeping quarters.
In June, Sue hit back at the criticism she and Noel have faced for having such a large family.
"I think it's just that you know or you don't possibly you can't possibly pay for all of those children," she said in a YouTube video, after being asked to address misconceptions about their life.
"I think that people don't kind of realise that we don't just have the bakery we have like obviously we have YouTube and the TV program and there's all different kinds you know it's not just one income there."
