Liverpool travel to Brighton on Sunday in the Premier League, with both sides hoping to bounce back from defeats last weekend.

Having both played in the Europa League on Thursday night, it will be an intriguing battle between two sides adjusting to their new schedule. Ahead of their Thursday night trip to Union S-G, Klopp revealed that Cody Gakpo would be among those who would miss out due to injury, albeit with no word on his fitness for Sunday afternoon’s fixture. He joins Thiago Alcantara and Stefan Bajcetic on the sidelines, with Darwin Nunez facing a potential league return following a knee injury which kept him out against Spurs.
