A disgruntled McDonald's customer has been filmed jumping the counter so she could make her own burger.

The wild outburst occurred in a restaurant in Adelaide, Australia, last week and resulted in the woman being arrested for disorderly behaviour, property damage and assault.

The clip shows the suspect, 19, screaming abuse at McDonald's employees before heading into the kitchen and preparing herself a burger.

“I will beat you up or I will leave!” she can be seen shouting in the video, which has racked up more than 75,000 views on TikTok.

She ignored the employees' requests for her to leave and grabbed herself two drinks before looking inside a paper bag, asking: "What's in that?"

Police say the culprit then hurled a water bottle at another customer, which led to the assault charge, the New York Post reports.

The video shows fries strewn across the counter as the woman continues her expletive-laden tirade.

She later helped herself a dessert in the McCafe section before finally being detained by two responding officers.

The police said in a statement: "About 10.35pm on Thursday, December 29, police were called to a fast food outlet on Hindley Street after reports of a woman acting disorderly.

"It will be alleged the woman damaged a door and threw a bottle of water at staff.

"A 19-year-old woman from the northern suburbs was arrested and charged with disorderly behaviour, property damage and assault."

Viewers were stunned by the woman's actions toward the staff, with one writing: “It’s really sad people have to go to work and deal with this stuff.”

Another insisted that the ranting woman should face the full force of the law, writing: "People need to pay for their actions."

It's not the first time violence has broken out at the popular fast-food chain.

In August a McDonald's worker was shot in the neck during an argument about cold fries.

Matthew Webb, 23, died from his injuries after being shot outside a McDonald's branch in Brooklyn, New York where he worked.

Michael Morgan, 20, was charged with murder. His girlfriend, Camellia Dunlap, 18, was also charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.

Morgan later confessed to a separate 2020 murder where he allegedly gunned down a 28-year-old man six blocks away from the restaurant of the shooting.
