Love Island star brutally slams 'arrogant' Sam Thompson after 'rude' encounter
Love Island star Anna Vakili has spoken out about her less than friendly encounter with podcast host Sam Thompson and branded the Made in Chelsea star 'fake' and 'arrogant'.
The former reality show contestant, who appeared on the fifth series of the ITV2 dating series, claims she was given the cold shoulder after unexpectedly bumping into Sam. The 33-year-old said she had gone out of her way to praise Sam on his videos but claims the TV star offered her a three-worded response before proceeding to go about his day.
Unimpressed Anna goes on to say that even if Sam hadn't known she appeared on Love Island, he should still greet people in a friendly manner whether their famous or not - continuing to savage her fellow reality TV star when chatting to her sister on their podcast.

Anna shared her thoughts on Sam on her latest podcast episode (annavakili_/Instagram)Anna said: "I’ve never actually met Sam Thompson, I’ve just seen his Instagram videos. They actually gave me so much jokes. They made me laugh. Also, he does the Love Island podcast. I know he’s like Love Island’s biggest fan.
She added: "So when I saw him, I was like, 'Oh my God, hey! I love your videos they’re so funny. He was like, 'Hey.' He was like, 'Oh, thanks' and walked off. I was like, 'Wow, that was a bit rude.'

Anna, who was speaking on the latest episode of her podcast Sisters In The City, continued: "It’s not even about did he recognise me or not because I don’t really care about that part of it. If someone comes up to me and says, 'Oh I love your podcast' or 'I love your videos,' it’s about the energy I give people. Even if I’m in a rush, I’ll be like, 'Thank you so much.' I’m so nice.
"But he was so arrogant. I was obviously with [my boyfriend] and as he was walking off I was like, 'I was even showing my boyfriend your videos and we were laughing.' He’s so fake and arrogant." Anna's sister Mandi added: "He thinks he’s Beyonce."
Sam, 31, is best known for starring in Channel 4's Made in Chelsea before then appearing on Celebrity Big Brother. He is regular guest on Love Island Aftersun. The reality star, who is dating Strictly's Zara McDermott, also hosts his own podcast with Pete Wicks called Staying Relevant. The Mirror has approached Sam Thompson's reps for comment on this story.
