Molly-Mae Hague admits to having 'crying fit' in New York during 'meltdown'
Molly-Mae Hague has confessed she had a 'meltdown' over missing daughter Bambi during her New York trip, admitting it's been "really hard" to be so far away from the 10-month-old.
The Love Island star visited Manhattan earlier this month as part of a mystery new project with PrettyLittleThing, much to the excitement of her devout fanbase.
Despite being admittedly delighted to be in New York, Molly was admittedly upset that she had to leave baby Bambi at home for her solo overseas work trip. The 24-year-old welcomed her first child with fiancé Tommy Fury in January, after announcing she was pregnant the previous September.
In her most Youtube video, Molly opened up about struggling to be away from Bambi during the transatlantic getaway. Speaking to the camera from her lavish hotel room, the social media star explained that she had planned to vlog her meal that evening but unexpectedly had a "breakdown" over missing the adorable tot.
"As you can see, I didn't take the camera out for dinner...the evening a bit of a turn for the worst," she explained. "Well, I took a turn for the worst. I had a bit of a meltdown, as you do." She then said she called Tommy to catch up and talk about Bambi, which only left her feeling more upset.
Love Island's Haris spills on unaired row between Zara and Tanyel"I had a bit of a breakdown before we went out. Some tears were shed, and I had a bit of a moment, which is weird because I was feeling fine all day...missing Bambi so much, and trying not to think about it too much."
Molly also admitted that seeing her two best friends Erin and Fran, "looking lovely" after they'd gotten dressed up only exacerbated her bad mood.
"I was just feeling so gross. You have those evenings where you feel really not cute," she said, after explaining that she "tried to make a bit of an effort tonight and tried to look nice and feel nice." She also revealed that her glamorous makeup had been ruined by her "crying fit" but she didn't bother touching it up. At another point of the heart-to-heart with her loyal followers, Molly attributed her low spirits in New York to "jet lag" and eating "rubbish food."
It likely didn't help that she had to change hotel rooms upon arrival, after being assigned one that was too small to hold all her luggage.
Molly also opened up about her concerns over leaving Bambi ahead of her New York trip, telling her followers, "It's going to be the longest time I spend without her and I feel really anxious about it to be honest."
