Behind-the-scenes photos of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry at the Invictus Games last month have since been shared with their fans on social media by a photographer.

Meghan, 42, and Prince Harry, 39, attended the international sporting contest in Germany a few weeks ago. The couple were among the guests in Düsseldorf for the week-long event, which was held from September 9 to 16 this year.

They were spotted together on numerous occasions during the competition, including them having taken to the stage together following Meghan's arrival into the city. The pair were also beside each other during the closing ceremony.

The couple have more recently been seen in behind-the-scenes photos from the special occasion, which have been shared by photographer Misan Harriman. He shared black-and-white photos from the event on Instagram recently.

One photo - seemingly taken backstage at the closing ceremony - showed the couple in a group. Meghan was seen with her hand on her husband's back, which has previously been referred to as a supportive gesture.

Whilst another photo showed the couple - who have been married since 2018 - stood beside each other in the crowd at the event. Alongside those two photos, Misan wrote in the caption: "Lovely moments from this years [Invictus Games]."

He shared a photo of Prince Harry seemingly practising a speech in another post on the platform recently. Meghan was seen sat in the front row during the apparent rehearsal, as her husband held a microphone whilst up on the stage.

The Invictus Games was founded by Prince Harry back in 2014, with the inaugural contest having been held in the UK. The event is said to have been established by him to celebrate the "unconquered human spirit," with the competition held for those in the armed forces and veterans who are "wounded, injured or ill".

It has previously been held in countries such as the US and the Netherlands. It was hosted by Germany this year, with it announced prior to the contest last month that more than 500 competitors would compete in around 10 sports. The next instalment of the contest, due to be held in 2025, is set to be hosted by Canada, who previously hosted in 2017.
