A posh couple is searching for a chauffeur to drive them around, however, applicants need to be able to drive their two Rolls Royce.

The successful candidate will earn £70,000 a year but work a 59-and-a-half-hour week. They will need to take a couple's six-year-old daughter to and from school, including after clubs.

In addition, the family have a newborn baby, so the chauffeur will need to put the pram in the car as well. The wife will need to drive around during the day and the chauffeur will also need to fill up the flash motors with fuel and keep them clean.

The couple reside in Mayfair, west London, and have a new Range Rover as well as a pair of Rollers. The hours are 7:30 am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, and then Saturdays from 9am to 4pm.

They only get Sundays off and there will be some travel to the US and Middle East. The advert on Eden Private Staff reads: “Superb Monday to Friday chauffeur position in Mayfair perfect for an experienced candidate with Rolls Royce and Range Rover experience

“A family based in Mayfair are looking for an experienced and professional chauffeur to predominantly assist the female principal and their two children aged six and a newborn. The core hours will be 7:30 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday, and Saturdays 9 am to 4 pm. You will be asked to occasionally travel abroad to the USA and Middle East.”

The duties are listed as: “School runs for the eldest daughter and taking her to activities, driving the principal to appointments and engagements. Load the car with the pram and any luggage, and run household errands.

“Oversee the cleaning and fuelling of the vehicles, which includes two Rolls Royce and a new Range Rover. Occasionally accompany the principal to and from the car to her location.”

Applicants are expected to: “Have previous experience of working as a chauffeur and have expert knowledge of London, particularly within a five-mile radius of Mayfair, Belgravia and Knightsbridge. Proven experience driving Range Rover and Rolls Royce in previous roles is a must.

“Be a good team player as you will work closely with the house manager and housekeeper. You need to be safety conscious, Mayfair is a highly targeted area, and you need to ensure that the cars are left in a safe position and be aware when loading/unloading the cars

“Close protection or security experience is highly desirable. You will need to be well presented and follow proper chauffeur etiquette. Work attire will be a suit and tie.

“Attention to detail is key. Presentation, cleanliness, and ensuring everything is being sanitised in and out of the car. The principal is looking for a candidate who is reliable, punctual, and extremely professional."
