My Mum, Your Dad's Zach has finally spoken up about his relationship with co-star Mazey after it was revealed that the two had developed a romantic connection on set.

The adult children met on the Channel 4 reality series as matchmakers on a mission to help their parents in finding love, but it was also reported that there was a spark between them in the bunker. Fans first speculated that chemistry was brewing between Zach and Mazey after they were spotted getting cosy on the show.

Mazey and Georgia even dropped significant hints during their interview on This Morning with Holly Willoughby last week. When asked by the 42-year-old presenter if any of the children had started "getting together" on the show, they all fell silent before erupting into laughter. However, it appears that Zach and Mazey's relationship was not meant to be.

During an Instagram Q&A session, Zach responded to a follower who asked: "Are the rumours about you and Mazey true???" Sitting alongside his father Elliot Davidson, he stated: "No unfortunately not, Mazey is absolutely gorgeous and we get on so well but unfortunately no, the rumours aren't true, we aren't together. And yeah I am single."

They were also questioned: "Did any of the kids get together???????" While Zach remained silent with a small smile, Elliot said: "So I can only tell you my understanding of it, which is what Zach told me, they are really all great friends and I think they will stay friends for a long time. I know they've all got plans to get together, so there was no shenanigans that went on, hopefully."

Meanwhile, Elliot has confirmed that he and Sharon are still in a relationship, stating they are "very happy" after being coupled up on the show. Zach further stirred the rumour mill when he posted a cryptic message on Instagram alongside a photo of him and Mazey."All good things must come to an end," he captioned the post.

One fan commented, "Amazing show, if it didn't work for your parents, then just maybe you two together just saying," while another added, "Is anyone else thinking these two should also get together. You look great together!"

The programme, hosted by Davina McCall, involves adult children nominating their single parents to live together in a shared house for the duration of filming. The grown-up kids then observe their mothers and fathers from a secret bunker and assist in matching them up.Davina recently expressed her delight at the success of the series, which she had "manifested" as a format for older daters. "I want to present this show for the rest of my life!" she told The Sun.
