Travis Kelce 'made up play' to score touchdown in front of Taylor Swift
Travis Kelce scored a touchdown in front of a delighted Taylor Swift on Sunday - after making up his own play.
Swift sat next to Kelce’s mother, Donna, in his suite at Arrowhead Stadium in an apparent confirmation of their rumoured recent romance. She was spotted getting excited when Kelce scored a touchdown in the Kansas City Chiefs’ 41-10 win over the Chicago Bears.
Kelce was found by quarterback Patrick Mahomes at the back of the end zone from three yards out to send Swift wild amid reports they are now dating. Speaking after the game, Mahomes admitted to feeling pressure - and it’s now emerged he also revealed Kelce made up the play that led to his score.
“I felt a little bit of pressure,” Mahomes said in a clip released on social media by ‘Inside the NFL’. “And then so I knew I had to get it to Trav. And of course its on the route that Travis, he does his own things and just makes up a route and I throw it to him.”
Mahomes added: “I heard she was in the house. I think he wanted to get in the end zone just as much as all the Swifties wanted him to.”

Kelce and Mahomes making up plays on the fly is nothing unusual. The pair have developed a telepathic understanding on their way to winning two Super Bowls together, and that chemistry enabled Kelce to impress Swift when she came to watch.
Kelce and Swift were seen leaving Arrowhead Stadium together and later pictured together in a convertible car. The presence of Swift at the game sent fans into overdrive after Kelce extended an offer for her to see him perform at Arrowhead Stadium.

But the pair are since said to have been ‘hanging out’ and Kelce extended an invite when he was quizzed on the rumours on the Pat McAfee Show earlier in the week.
"It's life, baby," Kelce replied when asked if he was frustrated by the speculation. "I threw it out there, I threw the ball in her court and I told her 'I've seen you rock the stage in Arrowhead (Stadium), you might have to come see my rock the stage in Arrowhead and see which one is a little more lit'. We'll see what happens in the near future."

"Especially when you've got Jason Kelce on live television telling people just both sides, he doesn't know, 'it's true', it's this and that. He goes on Thursday Night Football and gets a big W and gets asked about it by my guy Tony Gonzalez because his daughter had to know.
"The first thing he brings up is the 'Catching Kelce', I thought everybody got rid of that. And then not even a week later, he tells everybody that it's 100 per cent true. I mean, the guy is absolutely ridiculous, he can't stay out of headlines.
"Everybody thinks he is the Ian Rapoport of my dating relationships, please everybody, stop asking my brother about my love life."
