Usher announces brand new album after exciting Super Bowl news
Usher has revealed that his new album Coming Home is set to be released next year.
The Grammy-winning R&B icon's ninth studio album will arrive the same day as his Super Bowl Halftime Show and is set to feature his previous 2023 release “Good Good,” featuring Summer Walker and 21 Savage. The track reached No. 12 on Billboard‘s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop songs chart.
The album is the first project Usher has released since Hard II Love in 2016. The upcoming album’s artwork shows a shirtless Usher holding a peach behind the back of his neck with a chain and cross pendant dangling down his upper back.
Fans went wild with excitement over the news, with one writing: "Isn't that ironic...his new album falls at the same time he's performing at the SB58 halftime show. Can't wait for both."
A second commented: "Oooo new album right before my birthday !!! Yesss usher let’s go!" A third chimed in: "Omg! I’m going to cry! Too much excitement at once! First the Super Bowl, now the album!!?! #Usher is a [goat emoji] I love this for us."

The game is scheduled to take place on February 11 and the musician has said it's "an honour of a lifetime" to finally perform at the iconic sporting event.
The announcement was made by Kim Kardashian in a fun video shared by the NFL on X, formerly known as Twitter. "USHER. LAS VEGAS. APPLE MUSIC HALFTIME SHOW. #SBLVIII. See you on February 11 on @NFLonCBS!" they wrote alongside the clip.
In the video, Kim called Usher to tell him the exciting news as he was busy recording music in the studio. As Usher tried to put the phone down, Kim insisted it was urgent. "I finally got the answer to those rumours, it's not about me it's about you," she told him. "You're doing the Super Bowl."
Usher was in disbelief and said: "You're playing with me man." After asking Kim how she knew, she replied: "I know everything." The mother-of-four then joked that she would be needing tickets for all of her family and friends.
Speaking about the announcement in a statement, Usher said: "It's an honour of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list. I can't wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they've seen from me before. Thank you to the fans and everyone who made this opportunity happen. I'll see you real soon."
