Laura Anderson slams mum-shamers as she defends divisive parenting decision
Laura Anderson slammed trolls criticising her parenting choices after welcoming her baby daughter Bonnie with her ex-boyfriend Gary Lucy. The Love Island legend hit back at followers, telling them to "chill" after posting an update on Instagram.
The 34-year-old reality TV star admitted letting her newborn "cry it out" after she'd seemingly attempted to calm her down. Laura welcomed the tot earlier this month following her and Gary's break-up. The pair are agreeing to co-parent.
She sparked controversy after sharing a snap of little Bonnie's feet, writing: "What a day and it's not even over. Not 1 nap longer than 20 minutes and fed every hour. I've had to let Bonnie cry it out as I'm out of ideas."

Praying tonight this doesn't continue and she settles because I am exhausted. Who's idea was it to have a baby." She added devil and laughing crying emojis.
Only a few hours later, Laura returned to Instagram after seemingly receiving a negative reaction to her upload, appearing to make reference to her letting the baby "cry it out". She shared another update, this time while in the bath.

Defending herself, Laura wrote: "When I say cry it out I meant about 2.5seconds so I could think of another solution as it was the first time she's cried so hard and I wasn't able to quickly rectify, chill peeps. She skipped a nap and was overtired so it just spiralled."
She added: "Tomorrow is a new day. Currently unblocking milk ducts in the bath woo!" Laura only gave birth earlier this month. Announcing the news on social media, she said she and Gary were "happy and in love" with the little one.
Penning a post on Instagram, Laura wrote, sharing a snap of the newborn. "Hi everyone, my name is Bonnie Rose Lucy Anderson. I was born 02/09/23 at 06.03am and weighed 6.10lbs. My mummy and daddy are sooo in happy and in love with me, this is our first week together.
"I'm sorry it's taken me some time to introduce myself, I hurt mummy a little bit and scared daddy too (oops) we're all now recovering well at home." Laura and Hollyoaks actor Gary called it quits while she was pregnant with Bonnie.
They met on Celebs Go Dating but broke up months after announcing they were welcoming their first child together. Despite being separated, the two were seen holding hands as they left the hospital together with baby Bonnie.
