Having kicked off their Champions League campaign with an emphatic 4-0 win over PSV Eindhoven, Arsenal can now turn their attention to the North London Derby.

Both Arsenal and Tottenham have enjoyed unbeaten starts to the new Premier League season, with the Gunners looking to build on last season's second-placed finish and Spurs entering a new dawn under Ange Postecoglou following the departure of star man Harry Kane.

And Mikel Arteta's side will be feeling confident ahead of the derby, having beaten Spurs in both meetings last season. However, Spurs are also full of confidence heading into the clash while Arteta has a major selection dilemma on his hands. With that in mind, Mirror Football has the lowdown on all the latest news coming out of the Emirates.

Son sends derby warning

Spurs captain Son Heung-min is feeling confident ahead of the derby, claiming now is "the right time" for them to face Arsenal given their excellent start under Postecoglou.

“I know what it means for the club and the fans and players as well,” Son said. “We should understand what kind of game it is. It’s going to be a really difficult game but they won’t want to face us at this time.

"We just have to give it everything we have and it will be in a difficult game for both sides. But we’re looking forward to this game because it’s the right time to play against them. We’ll have a good game.”

Raya on Ramsdale battle

One major dilemma facing Arteta is whether he should stick or twist with his goalkeeper options, with David Raya impressing against PSV and Everton after replacing Aaron Ramsdale.

The decision to sign the Spaniard to provide competition for Ramsdale has been the subject of much debate and Raya has admitted he has no idea who will get the nod to face Spurs. "That is his choice, it is not my choice," he said.

"When Aaron comes back in, he needs to fight for the team and win games. It is part of football now that two top goalkeepers are in the same team. The gaffer wants two top players for every position and that is what we have to work with. I have played the last two games and I don't know what will happen on Sunday."

Carragher backs Raya call

Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has also weighed in on the debate, stating that "Arsenal will never win the league with Ramsdale in goal" and suggesting Raya should be their No1 moving forward

"I understand having two goalkeepers of a similar ability, I understand mentally it might be a problem for the goalkeeper," Carragher said on CBS Sports. "But surely if Mikel Arteta thinks he can get a better goalkeeper in the building, he has to make that signing to make Arsenal a better team.

"Arsenal will never win the league with Ramsdale in goal, no chance. Ramsdale is playing for Arsenal and he can’t even get in the England team."
