Stephanie Davis 'engaged' to boyfriend Joe as she posts photos of ring
Stephanie Davis appeared to hint she had got engaged after posting a photo with a ring on her wedding finger.
The actress, who is currently starring in Coronation Street, shared a snap of boyfriend Joe McKalroy – who she has been dating for almost two years – to her Instagram stories and wrote: “Greatful (sic) for you my love.”
In the next photo Yorkshire lad Joe is holding Stephanie’s left hand, which is tattooed with a black cross, and running his finger over what looks to be an engagement ring. She didn’t write anything on the post apart from a prayer and red love heart emoji. Her reps confirmed to the Mirror this is a 'promise ring', suggesting she hopes to marry Joe one day.
Before meeting “love of her life” Joe in November 2021, Stephanie was fairly unlucky in love. The 30-year-old dated violent ex Jeremy McConnell, who she met on Celebrity Big Brother, and the pair went on to have son Caben, who is now six.
She also suffered a devastated miscarriage when she was dating bike shop worker ex Oliver Tasker prior to meeting Joe. This followed a previous baby loss in 2017, which she said was down to the stress ex Jeremy put her under.

Since going public with Joe, Stephanie, who starred in Hollyoaks before quitting in 2015 after apparently arriving on set “unfit for work", seems to have got her life back on track. As well as her new role in ITV soap Corrie, her and boyfriend Joe seemed more loved up than ever.

She shared this snap of her 'promise ring' as she held Joe's hand (Instagram)In a recent Instagram post, she gushed: “You bring out the best version of myself, you’re my biggest motivator and supporter and without you I’d be lost. You are my better half and more!
“You’re the only person on this planet that is my calm! When I’m with you my head stops, I don’t think... I can just BE (and as you know that’s a miracle haha). My safe haven.”
Stephanie went on to say: “You are the most amazing Daddy to Caben. You have shown him the most important morals. You’re always there, you show up, you take him to every game, every place, you’re always thinking of him in every way to see what you can do for him or what we can plan. Your selflessless in life amazes me every day. I am besotted by you every day.
“I watched you two fall in love with each other, I watched you become best friends and then I watched you become the best Daddy there is. Every day I wake up in the morning I am grateful in God that he sent us you. I’ll forever be in his debt. Our whole journey was worth it because it led us to you. We love you. Unconditionally. Always.”
And fans are here for Steph’s happy ending, with one writing: “Stephanie you deserve this happiness.” Another said: “So blummin’ happy for you.” A third chimed in: “Such a lovely little family.”
While a fourth added: “Followed your journey since Big Brother and I’m in awe at how far you’ve come in the past few years. You and your boy deserve happiness. He’s a huge credit to you. I wish you all every happiness.”
