Jamie Foxx 'doing fantastic' after health scare with new 'sweetheart' girlfriend

Jamie Foxx is "doing fantastic" with his rumoured girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp by his side - months after a mysterious health crisis that saw the star hospitalised in April.

The 55-year-old actor and singer sparked romance rumours with Alyce after they were photographed together on various occasions since August of this year, but have not yet publicly confirmed their relationship. Most recently, the lovebirds were spotted going on a romantic getaway together to Cabo in Mexico during Labor Day weekend. Last month, the pair were also seen enjoying a dinner date at the famous fusion-Japanese restaurant Nobu in Malibu.

His stunning new Australian partner has little known about her, but one source spoke highly of Alyce's character in a recent interview with People - describing Jamie's new love interest as a "total sweetheart." The insider added that the Django Unchained star has been in good health and high spirits following his medical complications this year.

The father-of-two was previously spotted with his mysterious woman by his side when he filmed a BetMGM commercial in July of this year. Another insider told the news outlet that the pair were seen together on set for at least one day of filming for the commercial.

The insider told the news outlet: "They seemed cozy," and continued: "[Foxx] had people around, but they weren't surrounding him or keeping him away from the rest of the set and crew and actors."

The Just Mercy star has two daughters including his 29-year-old daughter Corrine and his 14-year-old daughter Aneliese, whom he shares with his ex-girlfriends actress Connie Kline and therapist Kristin Grannis. After numerous long-term relationships, Jamie opened up on his feelings towards marriage in his memoir Act Like You Got Some Sense.

Jamie wrote: "I just don't think I'm the marrying type," and continued: "I've had friends that have great marriages, others not so much. And it never seemed like marriage was necessary to raise my children in a safe and loving atmosphere."
