An Essex radio show which accidentally announced the death of King Charles has been found to have breached Ofcom rules. In May, Radio Caroline listeners were shell-shocked when the Barry Marsh show announced that His Majesty had died in news no-one saw coming.

Radio Caroline’s regular broadcasting was interrupted in the middle of the song What’s Up? By the band 4 Non Blondes on Tuesday when the blunder was made.
