A vicious dog attack at a popular holiday park left five people injured - including one of them being rushed to hospital.

Police were called to Palins Holiday Park, in Kinmel Bay, North Wales, after reports of a dog attack. Five people were injured in the dog attack, including one man who was confirmed to have suffered a serious arm injury. Emergency services rushed him to hospital as four other people reported minor injuries. The dog has since been tracked down and seized, and is being kept in kennels. Meanwhile, two men, aged 58 and 28, have been arrested this morning in connection with the incident. Their vehicle was also seized.

NorthWalesLive reported that in a statement, DS Jon Rich said: "Our enquiries are ongoing but I would like to reassure the public that we are not seeking anyone else in connection with this incident. We are conscious of the current national attention on incidents of this nature. The dog is not believed to be a Bully XL and we are in the process of confirming its exact breed. I would urge anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any video footage to please contact us on 101 quoting incident number A149757."

Sharing the public appeal on social media, they added: "Please call us on 101 if you witnessed a disturbance at Palins Holiday Park, Kinmel Bay yesterday 10pm. A man was hospitalised after being bitten by a dog and 4 other people reported minor injuries. The dog has been seized and 2 men, aged 58 and 28 arrested."
