Lauren Goodger has fuelled rumours she's set to return to The Only Way is Essex seven years after her exit from the ITV reality show.

Fans have speculated the 36-year-old mum could make a comeback after she was pictured on a night out with to current cast member Junaid Ahmed. He joined the show last year and has remained a regular face of the hit series ever since. Lauren starred in TOWIE from 2010 to 2012 and returned for a brief stint in 2016. Since then, the TV star has appeared in Celebrity Big Brother, Dancing on Ice and Celebs Go Dating.

But now fans are convinced Lauren is revisiting her roots after she enjoyed time with Junaid. On Friday, 28-year-old Junaid shared a snap with Lauren at Sheesh Restaurant in Chigwell on his social media page. He captioned the post: "My girly @Laurengoodger" with Lauren responding to the post with a heart emoji.

Fans were left rejoicing at their meeting and expressed how they were keen to see Lauren back on their screens. A fan wrote: wrote: "Lauren back in towie would be great", while a second added: "My two actual TOWIE faves". A third fan of the star commented: "WE NEED HER BACK IN TOWIE!!!!"

In 2012, Lauren told the Mirror while she was on the show she felt insecure about her looks. At the time, she said she "I felt under so much pressure" as "most of the girls on TOWIE are quite skinny and could wear what the hell they wanted". She continued: "We all had different body shapes, and I’m not being horrible, but I don’t like boob jobs or even want to be really thin. I just want to keep my curves and be a little more toned. But, next to the others, I’d be panicking over whether my arms looked fat or how big I’d look if I was sitting down."

Lauren previously dated her TOWIE co-star Mark Wright for ten years before the pair split in 2012. She then dated builder and football player Charles Drury. The couple who share daughter Larose together sadly lost their second child Lorena last year two days after welcoming her to the world.

Reality TV star Lauren has now opened up about her ordeal with The Sun. She told the publication: "Lorena was a healthy baby and it was a textbook pregnancy. They think her oxygen may have been restricted because she had two knots in her cord but normally babies can still get enough oxygen despite this."
