Serial road rage Tesla driver batters car with iron bar on freeway amid spree
A serial road rage Tesla driver who was filmed battering a car with an iron bar on a motorway has been jailed for five years after a series of violent attacks.
Nathaniel Walter Radimak, 36, went on several prolific attacks across Southern California between 2022 and 2023 which left him with charges of vandalism, assault, elder abuse, and criminal threats.
When cops arrested him in connection with one of the attacks, $30,000 in cash and steroids were discovered in his car, according to authorities. Footage of his violent attacks went viral on social media and showed him repeatedly hitting a Chevy pick-up truck with an iron bar on the southbound lanes of Highway 2 near York Boulevard in Glendale in January.

Nathaniel Walter Radimak went on a series of violent road rage attacks (ABC7)The concerned Chevy driver caught the frightening attack on his mobile phone which also showed Radimak returning to his 2022 Tesla Model X with no licence plates and driving away from the highway. "Initially you think, 'Should I pin him to the wall with my car?' 'Should I run him down?' 'What should I do?" the driver told KTLA at the time. "And I tried to stay focused and think, 'I don't want to go from victim to criminal in an instant."

Radimak allegedly followed a couple from a shopping centre in Pasadena later that day and nearly hit their car with his vehicle, according to prosecutors. He also struck their car with a metal pole.
He is seen holding a metal iron bar in his hands (ABC7)In addition, he also had a physical altercation with a woman and her 93-year-old mum in June in West Hollywood. Pictures were showing the suspect and a valet driver involved in the horrific attack.
There were at least ten victims of the driver's violent attacks across Los Angeles. "I just feel like he is going to get out and be infuriated, especially since all our names are out in the public record, for the majority of us," one woman told ABC News. "I feel like it's definitely still not over, especially because five years isn't enough."
The driver violently attacks the car (ABC7)During another encounter, one woman recalled how the thug tried to stop her on the 101 Freeway in November and hit him. "He went around me and completely stopped, and this was on a full freeway, and just got out of the car and started hitting me,' she said. "I felt if I didn't get away, he would have cracked my window."
Dashcam footage captured his outbursts (ABC7)Shocking dashcam footage from the victim's car led to Radimak being arrested. "We feel like justice has been served, although we also feel that a lot of the victims haven't been heard, " she told ABC.
Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon said after his arrest: "The victims in this case were reasonably terrified by what they experienced, but this reign of terror ends today. Motorists in Los Angeles shouldn't have to live in fear of being attacked while simply driving on the freeway."
