Meghan Markle revealed her very fancy hopes for her children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet during a glamorous party at the Invictus Games.

The Duchess has joined Prince Harry in Dusseldorf, Germany, for the sporting competition, and the couple have been chatting with athletes and their families throughout.

And during one of her most recent outings she revealed a hobby she hopes her children will take to, and it's something the royals famously love. In conversation with Bridget Bridge, a wife of an IG25 board member, Meghan said she really wanted her kids to learn to ski. Bridget told The Mirror: "Meghan said that she really wanted her children to learn to ski and that maybe Whistler was the ideal place. She said she didn’t ski so we told her they must come and learn.”

Keith Bridge, who attended the event with his wife, had a conversation at the party with Harry. Their conversation was very different, focusing on Harry's favourite sandwich.

Keith told The Mirror: “We are from Victoria in British Columbia. Harry was telling us about the best sandwich he’d ever had, which was in Deep Cove. He said when you cut it in half it looked like a piece of art. He said they were looking forward to going back and that it was a very special place for them.”

While the party took place in Germany as part of the 2023 Games, they were in discussion about next already. It will be taking place in Whistler and Vancouver in 2025. Harry seemed quite chipper about the location, elaborating to officials that both he and Meghan loved Vancouver Island during a visit in 2019.

Paul Ledwell, deputy minister of veterans affairs in Canada, told The Mirror: “He spoke about how peaceful and healing Canada is, and a little less hot than it has been here this week. The 2025 Games will be the first time they come back to our country. They were speaking about how much they love Canada and said they couldn’t wait to come back.

"We will welcome them - they will be coming home," he added. In some ways, that area will be a type of home for the couple who spent much of their early romance in Toronto. Meghan, at time time, was filming TV show Suits in the city which kept her busy and obligated to be there. And they also spent several weeks living at Mille Fleurs, a lavish mansion on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.

Harry's found peace in Canada was likely as a result of enjoying an idyllic six weeks living there and got some much needed rest, when “no one knew” where they were, as he explained to guests. “Then all of a sudden this very peaceful town was swamped by paparazzi,” he said.
