If you want to be one of the first to get your hands on the new iPhone models, today is the day as UK retailers have started taking orders for all iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro models. Just a couple of hours into the preorder sale, the maxed-out iPhone 15 Pro Max stock seems to have run out.

While all four new iPhone models are due to ship to those who preorder on Friday, September 22, it seems some iPhone 15 Pro Max fans will need to wait until mid-October due to the huge demand."

Retailers including Sky Mobile, Three, O2, Vodafone and EE have all released competitive deals for monthly contract users, on top of Apple's outright handset prices. Pre-orders dropped at 1PM and thousands of shoppers have raced to get access, causing delays and online queues on multiple sites.

Here's a quick glimpse at iPhone 15 deals:

Sky Mobile has already confirmed its prices, which will start from £26 a month and additional data packages from just £8 a month, thanks to its current half-price data offer – so you'll get double the 5G mobile data. Three is offering the lowest prices with contracts from £30 per month.

We can also expect to see a few surprise gifts thrown into today's first pre-orders, which was a common occurance during last year's iPhone 14 pre-order week.

It's set to be a whirlwind day for shoppers and those who place a pre-order on the device are said to get guaranteed delivery of the handset the day they drop into UK stores, which is next Friday, September 22. Follow along live below, we'll have the latest prices from networks as soon as they are announced, plus any warnings if shipping dates start to slip on the most popular models.

GiffGaff was one retailer on our radar this morning however it's not opened its iPhone 15 pre-orders just yet. But it will give you hundreds off the older iPhone 14 range.

A lot of shoppers are bound to want to wait around as its data deals are some of the cheapest on the market its still unsure how long it'll take - of course this does mean later delivery of the handsets.

Tips for finding the best deal

Apple struggles with demand as iPhone 15 prices start from £18 (Dave Snelling )

Our Mirror Tech Editor has shared his tips for pre-ordering an iPhone 15 today, especially if you're unsure which network to go for. And after seeing the devices for himself live from Apple Park in California it's only right we share.

Tips for buying an iPhone 15 from a Tech Editor:

  • Check the amount of mobile data you're using each month, there's no point paying for an unlimited allowance if you only use 5GB each month on average
  • Check the amount of storage you're using on your current phone, it might be tempting to save money today – but it'll cost you in the long run with cloud storage subscriptions
  • How often do you travel? Only a couple of networks still offer free EU roaming these days, if you're a frequent flier these charges can quickly stack-up so it can be cheaper to pay more for a network that doesn't charge to access your minutes, texts, and 5G data abroad

Amazon selling iPhone 15 cheaper than Apple thanks to DISCOUNT code

Yes that's right, the online retailer has launched a sneaky discount code for ALL shoppers today. And those who pre-order the iPhone 15 aren't exempt from getting extra money off at checkout.

Amazon handset prices would normally be the same rate as Apple, John Lewis and Currys but this discount code drops the price by £5. Yes it's a small amount but there's currently no other retailer offering money-off the brand new handsets.

All you need to do is enter 'AMAZONUK25' into the promo code section at checkout at the price of the iPhone 15 will drop from £799 to £794.

Currys shares crucial iPhone 15 delivery warning

As we were uncovering the prices listed below we spotted a key note on Currys site, and it could be the difference of getting your new iPhone 15 on time or not.

Apple struggles with demand as iPhone 15 prices start from £18

All pre-orders today will be dispatched for delivery on (or after) September 22. For many shoppers it's hoped the device will arrive on the official sale day (Spetember 22) but there is always the change in small print it could arrive a few days later, which isn't ideal.

Currys states that shoppers ordering more than one iPhone 15 should do separate pre-orders and purchases to increase the chances of both devices arriving on time.

  • You can browse the iPhone 15 at Currys here.

Currys list iPhone 15 prices

Now we're onto the third retailer for those who want to buy an iPhone 15 outright, Currys.

But it's the small print on its delivery section which may help shoppers today..... which we will uncover in our next post.

Apple of course is a huge option, if not the first, for many when it comes to buy an iPhone 15 range.

You may not be able to buy adjacent data deals to go alongside your handset but Apple do offer an easy way to split the cost, which not many shoppers may know about. It's all thanks to upgrade programme - aimed at dampning the cost for shoppers.

This lets Apple users split the cost of the newest device across 0% monthly payments, so each year you'll get your hands on the latest iPhone range.

How do iPhone 15 pre-orders work?

At Mirror Tech we've taken a look into all the T&Cs to ensure you are one of the first to get your hands on an iPhone 15.

"If you manage to place an order at 1pm on September 15, you'll be one of the first to receive your shiny new smartphone when the new iPhones are delivered to your doorstep (or to your nearest Apple Store, if you prefer collection) on September 22nd.

"On top of that, individual retailers are likely to launch competitive offers, so pre-ordering a device can often work out better than waiting to buy the handset outright from the shelf."
