Kate Lawler hits back after being skinny shamed over 'attention seeking' snaps
Kate Lawler has hit back after being skinny shamed by trolls on social media who claimed she was posting pictures of her slim body for attention.
The 43-year-old, who is mum to daughter Noa, 2, has been on the receiving end of nasty comments made about her slim physique, and was forced to defend herself after one follower alleged she was sending the “wrong message” to young girls. After Kate posted a mirror selfie, which showed off her slender frame, one fan fumed: “You are beautiful but I do worry about what message it sends to young girls,” while another fired: “Kate loves the attention… hence another one of these posts! Each to their own but I’d rather eat crisps and look like me!”
The former Big Brother winner hit back in the comments, and replied: “What message do you think I’m trying to make here? As I eat a raspberry croissant for breakfast I’m genuinely curious to hear your reply.” However, one concerned fan remarked that Kate was “at her skinniest” and some followers were genuinely worried about her health. “I think the concern is whether fat or thin, or anything in between, when your body shape has changed quite as much as Kates has, people, worry because it’s not normal,” they wrote.

It's all about perspective and the lens you look through.” While another chimed in: “These people need to go f**k themselves they have no right to comment on your weight or looks. You are stunning, an excellent mum and you make me laugh,” as many agreed with her comment. “Never comment on people’s weight it is so unnecessary,” another added. “Kate has ALWAYS been slim. It’s her natural frame. Leave her alone. She is a busy mother of a toddler,” one wrote.

After she shared pictures from the trio’s trip across Europe, some of her followers quick to comment on her slim physique. “I love that people are concerned about my wife's weight when I cook for her. Guys, chill - it's the camera angle. Put the phone down and go outside for a bit,” he wrote. And Kate’s twin sister was also prompted to comment on the unfair criticism, which was sparked by Kate’s picture of her wearing an orange bandeau top. “Can’t believe the comments i am reading.. My twin sis has always been slim.. we both have so much energy and that’s how she’s always been.. plus a mother to a toddler we all know you don’t stop!! trust me Kate eats loads,” Kaz Lawler wrote.
