Achieving global success with her Grammy-award winning hit, Meredith Brook's rock look was as memorable as her song B**ch.

But now, 25 years on from reaching the heady heights of fame, the 65 year old rock star looked completely different as she walked the red carpet at the She Rocks Awards, earlier this year. Meredith's trademark look was shoulder length brunette tresses which she usually left to loosely fall off her shoulders.

And her pronounced cheekbones earned her the title of being a magazine cover worthy rock star. Now, Meredith is seen with dyed red hair complete with a heavy fringe and her once pronounced cheekbones, have perfectly matured into a more softer look.

Standing on the red carpet alongside her B**ch co-writer Shelly Pieken, Meredith still maintained her sultry pose as she took pictures ahead of the awards show. Dressed in a striking red jacket it's perhaps clear that Meredith has maintained her rock persona so many years later. She teamed her look with matching lipstick and wore a black mesh top and ripped jeans to complete her look.

Her song has been a hit among many generations due to its moody lyrics and hard hitting beat. The success of the track earned her the recognition from the Rolling Stones who asked her to support them at their concert in Argentina. And while it was an amazing opportunity, things soon turned sour as she was attacked on stage by a fan of the rock group.

The crowd attempted to boo her off stage as they demanded to hear the British born rock group. Not content with verbally insulting her, members of the crowd resorted to throwing tampons and rocks at her - and one flying object even hit her in the eye.

The singer was left with a noticeable bruise on her face as a souvenir of being the Stones' support act. And the following day things did not get better despite Meredith appearing on stage wearing an Argentine football shirt. Not only was she boo'd, she also had objects thrown at her once again

But in a shocking show of defiance, after singing her iconic song, she took the football shirt off, stamped on it and walked off stage earlier than planned. The star went on to create a further five more albums and one of them, Deconstruction became a hit in 1999 and the song Sin City made it in the Nicolas Cage film Snake Eyes.

In 2002, Meredith produced Jennifer Love Hewitt's album BareNaked and appeared on VH1 Divas Las Vegas as a guest guitar soloist alongside Celine Dion and Anastacia. One of her tracks called Shine became the theme tune for the Dr Phil show between 2004 and 2008 and she also went on to compose a children's album titled If I Could Be. The album was released in 2007.
