Ariana Grande finally admits to 'a ton' of botox and filler

Ariana Grande has finally admitted to getting a "ton" of botox and filler and reveled why she has had to stop.

The Side to Side hitmaker, 30, became emotional as she "laid it all out there" regarding her beauty treatments. She was talking through her skincare and makeup routines when she decided to reveal she got filler in her lips. Ariana was close to tears as she opened up on her decision to tweak her appearance, as she felt it was a way to "hide".

However, the pop superstar decided to stop getting botox and fillers in 2018. She shared: "Full transparency, as a beauty person, as I do my lips, [I’ve] had a ton of lip filler over the years and Botox. I stopped in 2018 because I just felt so… [it was] too much. I just felt like hiding, you know."

In the Vogue Beauty Secrets video, Ariana began to get tears in her eyes as she spoke to the camera. “I didn’t expect to get emotional,” she confessed. “For a long time, beauty was about hiding for me, and now I feel like maybe it’s not since I stopped getting fillers and Botox. Maybe I will start again one day, I don't know."

She continued: "I know for me I was like, I want to see my well-earned cry lines and smile lines. I hope my smile lines get deeper and deeper and I laugh more and more. I just think aging can be such a beautiful thing. Might I get a facelift in ten years? Might, yeah. But these are just thoughts I feel like we should be able to discuss. If we are sitting her talking about beauty secrets, lets lay it all out there."

Earlier this year, Ariana made fun of her "old" self for jumping on makeup trends such as thick cat eyes and an overdrawn lip. However many fans were distracted by her pale complexion and much slimmer appearance. "She looks malnourished," one person claimed. Another tweeted: "Every time I see pictures of this woman, she looks different." A third person wrote: "I hope shes okay :("

The criticism of Ariana's looks came after she made an impassioned plea with fans to be "less comfortable commenting on people's bodies" as she said she has been compared to "the unhealthiest version of my body". In a video shared on social media, the star said: "I think we should be gentler and less comfortable commenting on people's bodies, no matter what.

"If you think you're saying something good or well-intentioned, whatever it is, healthy or unhealthy, big or small, this or that, sexy or not sexy, we should really work towards not doing that as much. There are ways to compliment someone or to ignore something you see that you don't like. I think we should help each other work towards just being safer and keeping each other safer."

Ariana reminded people that there are many ways to look both healthy and beautiful. She added: "Personally for me, the body that you've been comparing my current body to was the unhealthiest version of my body. I was on a lot of anti-depressants and drinking on them and eating poorly and at the lowest point of my life when I looked the way you consider my healthy, but that in fact wasn't my healthy."
