Ant McPartlin's ex Lisa Armstrong breaks silence after house fire
Lisa Armstrong has broken her silence after a devastating house fire at her home.
The £5 million home she shared with her ex husband Ant McPartlin went up in flames on Monday. The West London house was the couple's home until their split in 2018. It is understood Lisa was renting out the home since the split. She took to Instagram today following the devastating blaze.
She posted a quote that read: "Once the heart gets too heavy with pain, people don't cry. They just turn silent. Completely silent." Lisa added three praying hand emojis. Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters responded to the fire on Grove Park Gardens in Chiswick, West London, where the ITV star used to former couple used to live. The brigade was first called at 09:46am yesterday and crews from Chiswick, Hammersmith, Richmond and surrounding fire stations attended the scene. The cause of the fire is not yet known.

Crews are responding to a fire in a house on Grove Park Gardens." The Mirror's photographer, who went to the scene, told us the house is being rented by a family of six. The family's nanny, Nor-ain Passwilan, reportedly spotted smoke coming from the first floor bedroom of the property, which is situated in an affluent area of Chiswick.
The nanny and the cleaner, Maria Bilianska, were the only people present in the home when the fire started. The fire is believed to have been electrical. I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! star Ant moved out of the lavish home when he and Lisa separated. The presenter then purchased a property in Wimbledon with his new wife Anne-Marie Corbett. However, his ex-wife, still owns the house and rents it out.

Ant's former neighbours included his TV partner Declan Donnelly, who lived on the same street with wide Ali Astall and their two children. Dec and Ali purchased their seven-bedroom property for £1.9million in 2006, but it is thought to now be worth £5 million. Make-up artist Lisa has since settled down at a £3.85million five-bed home near her ex-husband. Ant handed over half of his £62million fortune to his ex-wife - as well their £5million marital home in their divorce settlement.
The couple announced they had called time on their 11-year marriage in 2018. A representative said at the time: "In response to the recent speculation in the media, Ant is very sad to announce that, after eleven years, he is ending his marriage to Lisa McPartlin." Lisa and Ant met at a Smash Hits concert in Newcastle, in the mid-90s, when Lisa was in girl group Deuce and Ant was performing with Declan Donnelly as PJ & Duncan.
