Lisa Armstrong has broken her silence after a devastating house fire at her home.
The £5 million home she shared with her ex husband Ant McPartlin went up in flames on Monday. The West London house was the couple's home until their split in 2018. It is understood Lisa was renting out the home since the split. She took to Instagram today following the devastating blaze.
She posted a quote that read: "Once the heart gets too heavy with pain, people don't cry. They just turn silent. Completely silent." Lisa added three praying hand emojis. Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters responded to the fire on Grove Park Gardens in Chiswick, West London, where the ITV star used to former couple used to live. The brigade was first called at 09:46am yesterday and crews from Chiswick, Hammersmith, Richmond and surrounding fire stations attended the scene. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
The London Fire Brigade tweeted a photo of the home with a fire engine outside and a number of firefighters, along with the caption: "Firefighters have deployed a 32m ladder at the scene of the #Chiswick incident. Crews are responding to a fire in a house on Grove Park Gardens." The Mirror's photographer, who went to the scene, told us the house is being rented by a family of six. The family's nanny, Nor-ain Passwilan, reportedly spotted smoke coming from the first floor bedroom of the property, which is situated in an affluent area of Chiswick.
The nanny and the cleaner, Maria Bilianska, were the only people present in the home when the fire started. The fire is believed to have been electrical. However, his ex-wife, still owns the house and rents it out.

Lisa and Ant met at a Smash Hits concert in Newcastle, in the mid-90s, when Lisa was in girl group Deuce and Ant was performing with Declan Donnelly as PJ & Duncan.
