The hit documentary series that helped Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney to bring Wrexham to a new worldwide audience is back for Series 2.

A combination of the club's Hollywood ties and the dedicated supporter base won the North Wales club a cult following after the first season of "Welcome to Wrexham". That time, the cameras followed the team through their 2021-22 campaign - which saw them miss out on promotion.

The new series will see the production crews return to the Racecourse Ground once more to document a historic season for the Red Dragons. Of course, last term saw Phil Parkinson's men pull off a dream campaign as they finally earned a place back in the EFL.

Having reached the promised land for the first time in 15 years, this edition of the docuseries promises to be a celebratory affair, by comparison. Be it Paul Mullin's goalscoring heroics, the inspired signing of Ben Foster or their famous 3-2 title decider win over Notts County, makers FX will have not been short on memorable moments to put to tape.

Undoubtedly, the stock of Wrexham has never been higher, with their summer tour of the US proving their standing. Here at Mirror Football, we have compiled everything you need to know as "Welcome to Wrexham" returns for its second series soon...

What channel can I watch it on?

What to expect from this series?

From the trailers that have been released prior to the return of the show, the series appears to be staying to the tried and tested formula of last time. Co-owners Reynolds and McElhenney help to tell the story of the year, with their continued involvement in the daily running of the club.

Aside from this, it is clear that the team takes centre stage once more, with the impact of the team's continuing rise shown in the local community. The unique profile of the resurgent club is clear, with A-List celebrities such as Will Ferrell popping up in one trailer and King Charles and Queen Camilla also visiting.

What cannot be overlooked is the success of both the men's and women's teams during a memorable campaign for the Red Dragons. Again, one trailer shows that the journey of both teams is chronicled in this series.
